San Francisco is way better than Orange County in just about every way. The atmosphere, environment, and vibe is abouuuut 300 percent more awesome here.
Plus today is the day of the Power to the Peaceful Festival in Golden Gate Park.

Wellllll Robert Plant was basically the most amazing show I've ever been too. But that's probably because he's my idol.
I can't even begin to describe the feeling it gave me to see my hero in concert.
So much exhileration.
Every other song was a Zeppelin song.
Zeppelin songs he played:
No Quarter.
Black Dog.
That's the Way. (amazing)
Hey Hey What Can I Do. (amazing)
Four Sticks. (unexpected and great!)
When the Levee Breaks.
Gallows Pole.
Whole Lotta Love. (the encore and amazing!)
My favorites were That's the Way and Hey Hey What Can I do. They were soooo nicely done.
When they played the Whole Lotta Love riff I almost fainted.
The band sounded greeeat and Robert's voice was just as good as in the 70s.
He's still got it too. He was doing a lot of old moves. Along with some new ones.
Haha and at the beginning of the show he commented on how pretty the trees looked. Haha.
I love Robert Plant so much.

So the guitarist in my band, Gary, comes to me and tells me "Hey Cameron guess what..."
And I'm like "What?"
And he's like "My mom got us tickets to Robert Plant."
And I'm all like "WHHHHAAAAAAAAAT???"
And I dropped like all my stuff on the floor and hugged him.
So Gary, Kyle, (the drummer in my band) and I get to see Robert fucking Plant on July 24th.
To me, that is like meeting God. Maybe even better.
Of course he doesn't look like this anymore. But still, he is my God.
He's going to play Zeppelin songs too. I'm sooo fucking stoked. |

So this weekend was pretty sweet.
On Friday I'm pretty sure I just sat at home and did nothing. But that's not 100%. Cause I don't remember.
Saturday I worked in the morning and afternoon then I went home and then Kenny picked me up and we met up with Elaine, Shane, and tall blonde Ryan at a matress store. We went to What A Lotta Pizza and sang for them so they gave us free pizza. Then we all went to the Library parking lot and played Pizza Hackey. I still have pizza grease stains on my pants from kicking around freaking pizza. I chased bunnies. Jahan came. Kenny jumped ontop of treestumps that are like as tall as me. Kenny is A Star Of Track And Field. Kenny had to leave so it was just Shane, Elaine, Ryan, Jahan, and me. I proceeded then to drive Elaine's mother's car around the parking lot at high speeds. Jahan broke Elaine's mom's liscense plate. It was his fault for sitting ontop of the hood while I drove. Then we all listened to Ryan's iPod. We drove around for a little while. It was a really, really fun night.
Sunday I went to Disneyland with Elaine and Kenny. We went on a few rides and as we were entering Tomorrow Land later in the night, we heard a band playing. We went to go check it out. Turns out it was Suburban Legends. I don't like ska. Elaine forced Kenny and me to watch them. Twice. Then after a while we left Disneyland and went to see Dustin because he'd just gotten back from Hawaii. We picked up Shane and went to Denny's. Julia, Sara, and Sally came and I was a complete asshole to them. Yeah if any of you are reading this, sorry. Then they left and we did too. Then Kenny took us all home.
Today I was picked up by Justin. We went to Joseph's house where he and Brandon were playing his recently purchased Gamecube. It's pretty sweet. Resident Evil 4 and Metal Gear Twin Snakes are rad. Then Justin, Brandon, and I picked up Tiana and we all went to Southcoast Plaza. We ate at the Rainforest Café. I had steak. It was delicious. Then we left and we all went home. And now I'm here.
I think I'm going to take a shower about now. <3333. |
